Mrs Clay Thing

Mrs Clay is a fantastic tutor and helps inspire you to do amazing in whatever you choose to do.

When I started English in Secondary School all I could do was wish for the fire alarm to go off or the WIFI to stop working so we wouldn’t have to do any work. A couple months later I fell chronically ill, and I quickly started to fall behind academically. Then I started to have lessons with Mrs Clay, and she saw my potential and helped me retrieve my confidence. Fast forward a couple of years and she has helped me drastically and managed to get my grade as high as a 7 in my mock GCSE within a couple of months before my exam. Without Mrs Clay’s help, guidance and knowledge I would need to resit my English GCSE whilst I attended Chethams School of Music come September as I wouldn’t have a vital GCSE, plus the confidence I gained wouldn’t be here today without the guidance of Mrs Clay. Even though I’m not going to become a journalist or Author these lessons Chrysalis Education provide help so you achieve the grades you need and give you a leg up to what comes next within your academic or day to day life. For this I will be forever thankful.

Since year 7, Mrs clay has been teaching me English, and she has been the best English teacher I have ever had. Since I am dyslexic, she puts the information in a way that makes it so easy to understand. Mrs Clay has sharpened my ability to explore my ideas in so much detail and analyse text in so much detail. I highly recommend Mrs Clay because she will happily go over things until you understand them.
I am doing an apprenticeship with the Talbot Inn and Barnsley College. I am passionate about cooking because my mum used to own a cafe/bistro in Huddersfield, and I used to help doing the prep, and I loved helping my mum out.
